Alexandra Dobolyi

Alexandra Dobolyi was born on the 26th of September, 1971 in Budapest. She is a Hungarian politician from the Party of European Socialists and a former Member of the Socialist Group in the European Parliament where she is Coordinator of the Socialist Group in the Committee on Petitions, and she participates in the Committee on Foreign Affairs as well as in the Delegation to the Korean Peninsula.
 
 
 
Ms. Dobolyi also participates in the Committee on Development, Subcommittee for Security & Defence and the Delegation to the EU-India Joint Parliamentary Committee. In the Committee on Foreign Affairs she was the PES Spokesperson on Bulgaria until its accession in the EU and she was also the PES Spokesperson on China and  South Caucasus. She was a Presidency Member of the European Socialist Party responsible for the relations with Russia and China.
Starting 2003 she was a member of the Ethics Committee of the Socialist International and between 2004 and 2008 she was the President of the Committee of CIS Countries and South Caucasus of the Socialist International. In 2008 she became the Co-chair of the enlarged CIS, Caucasus and Black Sea Committee of the Socialist International.
