Pablo Arias Echeverría was born on 30th of June 1970. in Madrid. He is a Spanish MEP member of the People’s Party, part of the European People’s Party. He was a member of the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection. Pablo Arias Echeverría, became an MEP in 2009, before he was a Senior Adviser and Head of the Office of the former Prime Minister of Spain, D. José María Aznar López. He was the Coordinator of the IMCO Working Group on Digital Single Market in the European Parliament. He was also a substitute member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI), the Committee on Petitions (PETI) and the Delegation for relations with the PRC.

He followed the courses of the Superior School of Marketing and Management in ESEM, International School of Business Management (Madrid) and a Master in Business Administration and Management (ESEM). He also completed a Leadership Program for Public Management at IESE (Madrid).

From 2000 to 2002 he lived in Brussels, where he served as Deputy Executive Secretary of the IDC (International Democratic Centre). He collaborates with the FAES Foundation, regularly participating in seminars and conferences both in Spain and outside the country.
