Piotr Borys is 37 years old, he holds a Master’s Degree in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Wrocław, specialisation: economic policy (June 2001).
Since 1998, he is councilor of the City Council in Lubin, and a member of the City Board and the Chairman of the Committee on Sport and Recreation. Since 2002, Councillor Provincial Assembly of Lower Silesia, he was Vice-President, Member of the Management Board and Deputy Speaker of the Lower Silesia Province.
He is the Vice President of the Federation of Polish Employers West served as President of Lower Silesia Tourist Organisation. Also, he was a board member and then president of the Regional Development Agency ARLEG SA and Chairman of the Board Waterpark Polkowice SA.
In 2009, the district dolnośląsko-Opole received a mandate MEP seventh term. He served on the Committee on Legal Affairs and the Committee on Culture and Education. He was a member of the Delegation for relations with Afghanistan and the EU-Kazakhstan, EU-Kyrgyzstan and EU-Uzbekistan and for relations with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
He is an avid fan of football and tourism, and above all, the father of two daughters, Lena, Poli and his son Milan. Along with his wife, Marzena lives in Lubin.
