Virginie Rozière comes from a family of teachers and researchers. She followed the lectures of Ecole Polytechnique, then worked at the Ministry of Defence where she was responsible for the partnership area or the armaments portal. From 2010 to 2012 she worked as an administrator for the secretariat of the  IMCO Committee within European Parliament. Then she returned to France and became Deputy Chief of the cabinet of Sylvia Pinel, Ministry of Craft, Commerce and Tourism.

Soon after the agreement between PS and PRG was concluded in 2013, she became the head of the list for the South East region for the parliamentary elections and was elected with 15, 73% of votes.

Virginia Rozière  holds a black belt in judo .
