EU40 supports the upcoming #MEPAwards2022!

The EU’s most Prestigious Political Awards Ceremony is back!

The MEP Awards (often referred to as the EU Oscars) are an annual highlight in the Brussels calendar. Now in its 18th year, The Parliament Magazine’s annual MEP Awards brings together Members of the European Parliament and EU stakeholders to highlight and celebrate the outstanding achievements of MEPs. It has become a recurring honour for EU40 to be partners of the MEP Awards, and to have our network’s MEPs win along the years.

The awards were established to recognise deputies who have contributed significantly to the legislative, supervisory and budgetary role of the European Parliament through their parliamentary activities.  In choosing the recipients of the MEP awards, regard is given to the nominee’s achievements in the year immediately prior to receiving the award, as well as their past achievements and ongoing contribution to the European Project and their national constituencies.

The 2022 edition of the MEP awards is the most inclusive and progressive yet, with new award categories; new people’s choice awards; new distinguished judges; and new high profile hosts.
