Hélorie Duval joined the EU40 team as Project and Communications Officer in September 2022.

Prior to joining EU40, Hélorie worked at EU Watch, an NGO working as an intermediary between the European Union and civil society. 

Hélorie has a Bachelor’s degree in European Law and a Master’s degree in Globalisation and Law. She is specialised in Human Rights Law and mainly focuses on Children’s Rights and migrants.

She is passionate about travelling and has lived in eight different countries. Highly involved in humanitarian aid, Hélorie has volunteered with UNICEF and various non-profits. She is a native French speaker, and also speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
