Director of Public Affairs and Chief of Staff from Google D.C office
Mistique Cano is a director of public policy in the Washington office of Google, where she leads the company’s efforts on public affairs.
She has created programs with local leaders that have helped nearly a million small businesses grow online and has worked with schools to bring digital literacy programs to tens of thousands of students.
Prior to joining Google, Cano worked in politics and public advocacy. She was the Vice President of Communications for the nation’s largest civil rights coalition, where she helped reauthorize the Voting Rights Act. Cano has worked on two presidential campaigns, and early in her career, worked with President Clinton’s pollster Stan Greenberg.
