On March 25, 2021, the EU40 network MEPs met together with Google‘s Senior Vice President Prabhakar Raghavan, in order to have an open and frank conversation about the digital world.

With opening remarks by EU40’s very own Managing Director Alessandro Da Rold and MEP Eva Maydell (EPP), the #AskMeAnything (#AMA) session with Raghavan lasted an hour in which MEPs posed questions on the future of digital; the digital services act; and search engine optimisation (#SEOs).

EU40 was happy to bring together the Google giant with MEPs from both sides of the political spectrum in an virtual open space. Participants included MEPs Eva Kailli (S&D); Niklas Nienaß (Greens/EFA); Alex Agius Saliba (S&D); Svenja Hahn (RE); Tomislav Sokol (EPP); Josianne Cutajar (S&D); Vlad Gheorghe (RE); Tsvetelina Penkova (S&D); and Lukas Mandl (EPP).
